Commission and markup

On the Unit.travel website, you can adjust (increase or decrease) the commission and markup for booking all travel products except excursions.

What is the commission for travel services?

By default, the website applies the following commission:

• Dynamic tours — 8%
• Hotels — 10%
• Flights — 0% (!)
• Transfers — 10%
• Excursions — 8%
• Car rental — 10%
• Insurance — 17%

How to change the commission for the site?

You can change the commission in the selection separately for each travel product:

1. Go to Profile > Settings > Commission and Markup.
2. Adjust the commission for each type of travel service.
3. If necessary, enable mandatory prepayment for B2B2C and B2C (from client) payment schemes.
4. Click the Save button.

Now, the custom commission you set applies, including on your own Unit Travel website.

How to change the markup/commission for each  specific booking?

You can adjust the commission for each specific booking during its creation (apply a markup):

1. After selecting the travel service, click the "Book" button and go to the Booking page.
2. In the Payment and Commission section, specify the desired commission percentage and click Save.

Can the commission be changed after the booking is created?

Once the booking is created, the commission cannot be changed.

What are Net and Gross prices?

• Net price — the amount payable for travel services excluding the agent's commission (price without commission).
• Gross price — the cost of the travel service including the agent's commission (price with commission).

Prices on the website are displayed in two formats: Net and Gross. You can change the price format in Profile > Settings > Commission and Markup: set only Net price, only Gross price, or both formats simultaneously — Net +Gross.

How to change the site"s currency?

By default, prices are displayed in euros, but you can switch to another currency from the list. To do this, click the globe icon in the top panel of the main menu.
